Binary clock

Sunday, July 23rd, 2006

Bclock As stupid as it is, it is still something i need to post. Yeah who would bother to watch binary clock? it took me quite sometime to figure out the real time. I found this on google personalised start site and found it interesting.

So this is how you look at it. The last 2 columns are second, the next 2 are minutes and the last 2 are hour. Second column is switching oftenly up-down, 1-0. The right side of second column goes from 0-9 in binary and the left side goes from 0-6 in binary. In other word, as soon as the right side of second column reaches 9 in binary, the left side adds its current number in binary or goes back to 0. The same concept applies on the minute and hour, which are respectively dependent on second and minute.

On this case the time above shows: 16:13:05.

Yep, how nice. Congratulation Friendster.com. I am proud of it. Being a newbie programmer, i’ve been wondering how creative friendster has been. Not only design-wise, but to me technology-wise is more interesting. On this site, i’ve been blogging the world for the last year. Frienster that originaly a community website has the blog feature existed not too long ago (considered the existency of web 2.0). The full article can be read in techcrunch.com

My new blog

Sunday, July 2nd, 2006

I got bored last night, so i messed around with flock and decided to make use of it. I opened new account in blogger.com to post my articles and soon will not use blogs.friendster.com. I don’t like the banner they put on top of the site plus blogger.com gives more flexibility to personalize your blog.

With flock web browser (read my recent post about  flock) it’s possible to blog the world through it, instead of sign in firstly to the website. This gives advantage to write your blog offline (i have flatrate, so i don’t really need it) and keep your post on your pc before you certain on publishing it.

So guys come and visit me sometimes in http://www.slowforward-log.blogspot.com. Not so much to read so far, but hopefully soon.
