Flock Web Browser
Following my post about microsoft delivers new IE, they are still one step behind. Based on Mozilla technologies Flock is a pretty rockin’ web browser with its cross platform, open source and social browser philosophies. Flock includes such features as blogging tools, feed handling, and integrated del.icio.us favorites and Flickr photo sharing. Download now and help the developers finding bugs.
I installed it in my iBook (G4, 1.2GHz, PantherOS) smoothly. Very quick, not heavy to open, very nice simple basic layout and it asked if i want to export my favorites from Safari. You can also post your favorites online if you want. This is a lot better then the latest Mozilla web browser SeaMonkey i installed 3 weeks ago. For me such web browser is too big, heavy and has most of the extras i don’t use. I only need one email client for example, while SeaMonkey has a build in one. It just slows down my whole system, since i only has a very minum ram capacity (not anymore soon, i hope). So i guess it’s time to flock the world baby… :-))
